Welcome to the New Cross Karate Academy led by Sensei Felix Nelson (IOGKF 6th Dan).

We are a dojo dedicated to teaching the traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu karate - a complete self defence fighting system that teaches personal and physical development as well as respect for others. No matter whether you are an experienced student of a different style of martial arts, or a complete beginner, we look forward to welcoming you to our school of Goju Ryu Karate.

Thinking of taking up a Martial Art in New Cross. London? If you are between 16 and 60 you will enjoy joining us on Monday or Wednesday evening to learn about Goju-Ryu Karate. Just turn up at Sharratt Street at 6:20pm (Juniors) or 7:50pm (Seniors) wearing loose tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt. You will be warmly welcomed and invited to watch the senior lesson that starts at 8:00pm. You can then join in if you wish. And please don't worry about your level of fitness or lack of skill.
